Current Exhibition DetailsKate Fitzharris - New WorksFollowing on from previous work about connections between people, their surroundings and other animals, I wanted to draw out a red thread. A thread that ties all pieces of work within a period of time, a family of pieces, cut from the same twist of cotton. Deep red for blood and richness. A colour equally hard to obtain in ceramics and from dye plants in my back yard.
